A new video game from the Rugby League is about to be launched – and there is a star born in Warrington on the cover.
The long -awaited return of the rugby league in the game consoles was finally confirmed by “Rugby League 26” which will be launched next month.

The game – The first dedicated to sport from Rugby League Live 4 launched in 2017 – will be released on July 17 with Warrington Wolves and the rest of the Super League and the LNR available in playable teams.
The female Super League will also be included in the match with former student of Cardinal Newman High School Jodie Cunningham with the cover alongside the Warriors Junior Warriors striker Nsemba.

Rugby League 26 presents the pro team mode, modern graphics, realistic gameplay mechanisms and teams, competitions and stages entirely under license from everyone in the rugby league.

“Rugby League deserves a world class video game and rugby league 26 offers exactly that,” said Rhodri Jones, Managing Director of RL Commercial.
“We are delighted to see our super league and our female super league clubs and players represented in detail and realism, in competition at the same level as the best clubs and stars in the rugby league before the ASHES series in the fall.”
The game is developed by Big Ant Studios, whose CEO Ross Symons added: “Each part of Rugby League 26 is motivated by authenticity and depth.
“From the career mode extended to the functionality of the professional team and advanced personalization tools, this game marks a new standard for the rugby league in interactive entertainment.”
