Richmond and Zetland Harriers were occupied this month, the members participating in a series of races.
The month started with the Ali Brownlee 5K race in Middlesbrough, where Ken Harker finished 48th in the general classification and eighth in his age category in 19 minutes and 9 seconds.

The same day, Huw Morgans directed the jubilee Bridge 10k in Runcorn, finishing in 58 minutes, placing it 338th in total.
Pauline Whittaker represented the club in the second match of the North East Masters Athletics Association (Nemaa) Track & Field on June 2 at the Monkton Stadium in Jarrow.

She finished second in category V55 in the 100m in 18 seconds, second in V55 in 200m in 35.6 seconds, and first in the V55 category in the shot with a 6.22 m throw.
The second Harrogate District Summer Race League (HDSRL) took place on June 5 in Yeadon, organized by Dragons Running Club in Leeds.

The 5.2-mile multi-land route crossed Esholt Woods, which was surprisingly muddy despite the lack of rain.
Paul Simpson finished 52nd in the general classification, fifth M50 in 38 minutes and 9 seconds, Nicola Simpson 105th, second F50 in 42 minutes and 6 seconds, Lauren Eadon 153rd, first F60 in 45 minutes and 27 seconds, and Pauline Whittaker 282e, 12th F55 in 54 and 19 seconds.

Paul Ellis participated in the Kirkby Fleetham 10k Trail race on June 10, finishing fifth in the general classification in 42 minutes and 36 seconds.

The Stately Trails Dalesrunner by forcet Park race took place on June 12, the second race in the Stately Trails series.
In the 5K race, Phoebe Haw managed a solid race, finishing fifth in the general classification, third woman in 26 minutes and 51 seconds.
Jonathan Simpson was triumphant in the 10 km race, winning it in 46 minutes and 27 seconds.
Rob Scott continued his winning routes, finishing the first in the general classification of the Evensplits York 5k series on June 13, the fifth race of the series, in 15 minutes and 21 seconds.
Steve Middleton had a fantastic race, finishing 26th in the general classification, the second M45 in 17 minutes and 11 seconds, and the son Ollie Middleton ran an impressive time of 18 minutes and 4 seconds, placing it 40th in total and 24th Msen.

In the parkruns on May 31 in Northalleton, Ian Christon finished for the first time in 18 minutes and 43 seconds, Steve Middleton third in 19 minutes and 16 seconds, Paul Ellis fourth in 19 minutes and 26 seconds, Ken Harker 11th in 21 minutes and 35 seconds, Lauren Eadon 24th in 23 minutes and 25 seconds, Philippa Thompson 37th in 24 minutes and 42 Christo 132nd in 32 minutes and 40 seconds.
In Darlington, Paul Simpson finished 10th in 19 minutes and 38 seconds and Nicola Simpson 84th in 23 minutes and 41 seconds, in Thorp Perrow, Anthony Jefford was 7th in 20 minutes and 43 seconds and Peter Richardson 69th in 29 minutes and 5 seconds.
