Members of Nine Frilford Heath Golf Club will fight for the chance to compete at the open next month.
FRILFORD HEATH will host regional qualifications on its red journey on Monday, and among the participating golfers will be nine members of Frilford Heath.
Any professional or amateur with a disability index of 0.4 or better, or those classified in the first 2,000 in the world amateur golf course, can enter.
The event is a game competition for an 18 -hole day where players will fight for the opportunity to go to final qualifications, after which they then compete for qualification places to play outdoors at the Royal Portrush next month.

Among the members of Frilford Heath, the first is Alex Stubbs, fixing the pace with a time of TEE at 7:15 am, followed by Luke Perkins at 8:05 am and Hamish Hall at 9:10 a.m.
The morning action continues with Robert Harhy in the process of fending at 9:20 am before Harry Thomas hit the course at 10:05 am, while Olly Huggins is at 10:35 am.
Kieran Mansbridge then goes on stage at 11:05 a.m., being the subject of the event in the post-miss section.
The afternoon puts the last two hopes of Frilford at stake, while Charlie Haynes will launch at 12:30 p.m. with Harry Richardson then at 2:15 p.m.
The Frilford Heath website describes the red course as a “authentic and difficult championship golf course in Oxford offering a traditional heath experience with greens and pushed fairways that require precise driving to mark”.
