Lucy Charles-Barclay hopes that her time on Epping Forest trails can propel her around T100 Triathlon in Vancouver.
The British triathlete is planned for its second T100 T100 race of the season, after a third place in Singapore in April.

He continued a good record of podiums over the distance of 100 km and that the 31 -year -old woman hopes that her experience at home can help him adapt to a new course in Canada.
“The place is absolutely beautiful, all landscapes and the coast,” she said. “I think it will be an excellent environment for a very fast race, I hope we can admire certain views while we run. The whole area here seems perfectly implemented for triathlon.
“We are so lucky by having these races around the world, it gives us more possibility of traveling and seeing new places.
“The race will be mainly on the path, which is really cool because when I’m at home, I do most of my race on a trail at Epping Forest. I hope it will give me a little more because I used to run on this surface, which is not typical for triathlon.”

Charles-Barclay arrives in the race at the back of the victory over the distance of 70.3 km a week ago, but she hopes that it is the perfect preparation for another solid performance in Vancouver while she is trying to rely on her third place in Singapore.
“I hope that I will have perfected the stimulus of the race, then recovery and be ready to leave for it. Each day feels better, the bike legs are definitely there. I hope it will be a perfect timing,” she added. “I like to take every opportunity that I can try to try different things and challenge my body.
“When I set up a season, I like to try to build on each race. Unfortunately, I went to Singapore, I was sick, so I didn’t feel very well in the race. I was really proud of third place.

“Looking back the data, it was worse than I did it the previous year in Singapore. I now hope that I have a few additional races to my credit, we can build on this and put another solid performance here in Vancouver.”
Charles-Brarclay plans the end of the end of the season in Qatar in December, but knows that there is a long way to go before it can think too much about the final classification.
A key stop will be his home race in London in August, a place that Charles-Barclay thinks she has unfinished affairs after failing to finish the same race last year.
“London will be a big race for me. Last year, I did not finish in London, so for me, it would be just great to finish on the floor at home and enjoy the crowd, “she said.

“It was a soft-man day last year, it was so incredible to be there and to have all the crowds there, then to be so disappointed not to finish and to be able to deliver. It is a big goal of me, to buy me from last year.”
