India’s guesturbator, Rishabh Pant, received an official reprimand for being dissenting during the first test in progress against England in Headingley, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Tuesday.
Pant was proven to have crossed the level of one of the CPI conduct code, with a demerit point added to the disciplinary file of the vice-captain of India, for whom he was the first offense in 24 months.

The incident occurred Sunday during the first rounds of England when Pant had a discussion with the referees concerning the state of the ball, while Ben Stokes and Harry Brook were in the fold.
“When the referees refused to change the ball after checking it with the ball gauge, the ticket office (pants) showed his dissent by throwing the ball on the ground in front of the referees,” the ICC said in a statement.
Pant admitted the offensive and accepted the sentence imposed by the match referee Richie Richardson, after the referees on the ground carried on the ground Chris Gaffaney and Paul Reiffel.
This match was largely a personal triumph for Pant, whose dozens of 134 and 118 saw him to become the second guardian, after Andy Flower of Zimbabwe, to make hundreds in both rounds of the same test.

The game, the first in a five test series, is planned for an exciting final with England, 21-0 during the night in its second heats, requiring 350 other points to reach a 371 victory target on Tuesday the last day.
