England Duckett says the change of mind behind the success of the test

Ben Duckett thinks that a change of mentality inspired his successful return to test the cricket after a brilliant century laid the basics of the remarkable victory of England in their opening match of the series with India.

The Duckett 149 commander was the key sleeves while England managed to continue an imposing total of 371 to be won by five counters during the first test in Headingley on Tuesday.

It was another moment marked for Duckett, 30, since his return from the England part in December 2022.

His 30 appearances in his second fate as a test cricket player gave 2,511 points to an average of 47.37 and a typing rate of 88.07.

The heroism of Duckett in Headingley saw him praised by the former captain of England Nasser Hussain, who labeled him “the best multi-format drummer in the world”.

Duckett said his success was due to an improved mentality after being criticized to get out with unnecessarily flamboyant fire.

“My state of mind is personally a little different from what has passed in the past two years,” he told journalists.

“Potentially, there is a little maturity.

“Chess is easy to make changes and learn, rather than just when you manage well.”

Jasprit Bumrah, the rapid Bowler test in the world, did not take from the second rounds to England, Duckett playing a key role in mastering the star of India.

“It was quite obvious that Jasprit was a great threat to their,” he said.

“It was a question of achieving each time he came, it was going to be a short and clear burst, trying to see him and not necessarily to play big strokes.

“The leadership of this team does not really talk about these things – if my place was under pressure, they would certainly not tell me,” said Crawley, who has long appreciated the support of England Ben Stokes.
