Armand Duplantis in Sweden won the pole jump to the Golden Spike competition in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, while the 17 -year -old Australian drop improved her 200 -meter personal record at 20.02 seconds.
Duplantis succeeded 6.13 m in the eastern Czech city of Ostrava before not having exceeded 6.29 meters for what would have been a new world record nine days after having established its last at 6.28 m.

The 25 -year -old Olympic double champion was again in a league again, because Emmanouil Karalis, second, in Greece, did not even approached 6.02 million people.
“I feel pretty good about it. I can’t complain too much. Overall, I feel like I have jumped very well,” said Duplantis.
Gout Gout, who had run 200m in an air of 19.84 seconds in April, stormed a convincing victory in a new Australian record in his first race in Europe.

The Olympic champion reigning Grant Holloway lost against the American compatriot Dylan Beard in the 110m hurdles for the second time in four days.
Last Friday, Holloway finished only fifth at Diamond League in Paris while Beard took second place.
In Ostrava, Beard bordered a slowdown in Holloway on the finish line with the two with 13.13 seconds.
“This is not the way I run the race,” said Holloway before admitting “the moment is good.”
The prudence of South Africa Sekgodiso won the 800m feminine in 1: 57.16, the second fastest time this season.

In the 400m, Femke Bol, a triple medalist at the Paris Olympic Games last year, only took third place during his first departure in the case of this season, after having concentrated on 400m hurdles.
