Enzo Maresca suggested that Christopher Nkunku could stay in Chelsea this summer despite generalized relationships that he is trying to leave the club.
The Frenchman joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2023 for reported costs of 52 million pounds sterling, and had trouble being up to the price.

He fought for the form throughout last season, succeeded in 14 goals and five assists in 43 appearances when he played most of his minutes in the conference league.
Of its 27 Premier League appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, only nine were departures. On these nine, he finished 90 minutes twice.
It was largely reported that he was ready to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with new reports emerging on Monday that Manchester United could offer Alejandro Garnacho in a right swap agreement against Nkunku.
Despite the reports, Maresca insisted that Nkunku is fully attached to the club, referring that he could appear in the last group of group groups in the world of Chelsea against ES Tunis.

“Christo is with us,” said the Italian. “He’s our player.
“It is doing very well in the last four days.
“Of course, tomorrow we are going to rotate. We will see if there is a chance for those who do not play much.”
Maresca had criticized Nkunku’s performance earlier in the season, leaving him for a visit to West London Rival Fulham and publicly confirming that the decision was technical.
When asked if an injury had caused the player’s absence in the derby, Maresca said: “No, it’s just a technical decision.”
