Enzo Maresca refused to exclude Christopher Nkunku leave Chelsea this summer.
The Frenchman started only nine Premier League matches last season and had a hard time having an impact on Stamford Bridge since he made a movement of 52 million pounds sterling in 2023.

Nkunku dropped further in the hierarchical order after the arrival of Liam Delap in Chelsea, although he played the 90 minutes full during the victory of the Club World Cup against Tunis Esperance.
However, he was overshadowed by Delap, who impressed by leading the line and scored his first goal for the club.
Nkunku was linked to a move to Manchester United and it is discussed an exchange agreement involving Alejandro Garnacho, who is eager to join Chelsea.
Maresca was questioned about Nkunku after his team beat Esperance and he could not give any assurance that the Frenchman would always be a Chelsea player when the window is closed.

“If Christo is here with us, it is because we think that he can help us and that he can be with ourselves next season,” said Maresca.
“But as you said, there are many speculations, not only on Christo, about many players.
“And then if something will happen, I don’t know because we have said several times when the transfer window is open, everything can happen in terms of players who can happen or players who can leave.”
The reports suggest that United does not consider Nkunku as a higher target and would prefer to focus on other long -term options.
The club progresses in its pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo and remains interested in Viktor Gyokerres and Hugo Ekitike.
