The Kendal cricket team continued its good race this weekend, winning two victories in League and Cup competitions.
Kendal faced Rainford on Sunday in the Lancashire Knockout Cup at Shap Road, after a successful championship match against Settle on Saturday.

The Auld Grays came out victorious in the two games, going third in the Northern Cricket League.
In the Cup match, Kendal’s professional, Evan Williams, presented his prowess in the stick, marking 117 undefeated points, because the local team posted a total of 201 for nine in sleeves.
The sleeves started positively for Kendal, who found himself at 56 for two.
However, the momentum has changed spectacularly when John Dotters from Rainford claimed a hat -trick, leaving Kendal in shock at 56 years for five.
Despite the first setbacks, a vital partnership of 68 cast between Williams and Louis Backhouse ruled the ship.

Williams’ sleeves, which included five four and eight, were essential to help Kendal recover from a precarious position of 133 for nine.
In response, Rainford struggled to continue the target.
They started their round with a promising opening partnership of 33 points, but Kendal’s quisors quickly asserted control.
Freddie Fallows took the crucial counter of M Bailey, captured by Finlay Richardson, while Chris Miller rejected P Farrar, also captured.
Kendal’s quisors have maintained incessant pressure, Williams contributing to a capture and to the bowl to reject J Login, leaving Rainford at 66 years for three.

Chris Miller continued to excel, trapping Lbw hard, tightening Kendal’s grip more on the match.
John Dotters from Rainford and W Threlkeld tried to resist with a 50 -point partnership, but their efforts were thwarted when Backhouse claimed the Highway of Dotters.
Once Dotters was dismissed, Kendal’s quisors quickly dismantled the lower order, with Fallows claiming three counters and a back house with figures of four for 28.
Rainford was finally overthrown for 142 points in 36 overs.
Earlier in the weekend, the Kendal League match against Settle made them obtain a convincing victory with seven counters.

Backhouse was the interpreter off competition with the ball, taking five counters for only seven points, while Sam Sharp and Kuldeep Singh each contributed with two counters.
Settle was upset for 76 points.
In response, Kendal’s striker was anchored by Sam Dutton, who remained undefeated on 33.
The contributions of Freddie Fallows and James Bowman, marking 19 and 11 points respectively, helped the local team reach 79 for four in just over 20 overs.
For the future, Kendal wishes to maintain their momentum as they prepare to face Longridge at home on Saturday.
