The former student of the Fulford school, now a student at the University of Florida du Sud, made a triple Bogey on the 11th who saw her hopes fading and she finished the very tournament with the peer, six strokes behind the winner, Sadie Adams.
Adams produced five sensational birdies in the last six holes to finish an exceptional return to win a fiercely competitive championship.
The star of England Golf Women’s Squad, Adams, who passed his last level A exam for PE Tuesday before his first round of the tournament, “said:” It’s incredible, I’m so happy! “
“After the bad start, I just told myself that I could recover this, I just needed to hit fairways because I knew that my approach game was quite good.
“I thought I needed more birdies to win over the nine rear, but when I was 17, I knew I needed Birdie-Birdie to do it. It was incredible to win in front of my parents because they don’t see me playing often.
“I hope it’s enough to get me into the England team for the European team championships. I’m going to celebrate with my teammates tonight, then I have a training camp at the Woodhall Spa this weekend!”
